Shorted after the disastrous "Bay of Pigs" Supreme Court Justice William O. Douglas stated; 

"This episode scared me.  I now understand the extreme power these two groups have, their carious insidious influences on civilian policy, and I fear that Jack Kennedy is not strong enough to rule these two powerful agencies.  I wonder if any President will ever be strong enough." 

He was talking about the CIA and the Pentagon.

Lee Harvey Oswald was involved in the conspiracy to kill President John F. Kennedy.  He was falsely proven guilty of being the Assassin by the Warren Report and branded as the killer by the American Press.  Most tragic of all, the American Public bought the lie.
