Someone--or something--is stalking the youths of San Francisco, hacking them up like firewood. A group of friends set off on a cross-country trip to escape the insidious evil. But the wickedness won't let them escape, and the farther they think they are from the murderer, the closer they draw a maelstrom of death and destruction to themselves.
